Prophet Kuo wants to stand out again. How can one oraculate so pointlessly in a pandemic where no one knows what will happen and when?
This man has lost all my respect.
There are enough self-proclaimed gods and narcissistic saints in this time.

I'd be happy with the return of TouchID and leaving the small notch. People will complain of it looking off balance, but this year has proven to me that TouchID > FaceID
Same. or have both TouchID and FaceID. That would be the best. The masks are here to stay for a while even with vaccines and the iphones need to be able to deal with them. Apple is certainly aware so they will do something to address the issue but I haven't seen any rumors indicating what.

Really want to upgrade to the 12 Pro but I’m gonna hold on to my 11 Pro another year and upgrade to the Pro model next year. I have a feeling the 2021 phones will be a much bigger upgrade from 12 Pro than the 12 Pros were from the 11 Pros.

If Samsung can continue with the “note” lineup after their exploding batteries, apple can release an iPhone 13.
I have been saying for a while, Apple should following their same naming pattern as most other products. MacBook Pro is just MacBook Pro. iPad Pro is just iPad Pro. AirPods Pro are just AirPods Pro. Thus, iPhone can become iPhone Pro and iPhone. the models are differentiated year over year by the, you guessed it, year, just like the products above. iPhone 12 Pro Max is just a **** show of a name.

Same. Holding onto my 11 pro max and my girlfriend will hold onto her xs max and upgrade to the 13 on launch day.

At this point, might as well wait.

TouchID? Notchless? MiniLED?
Why would anybody want MiniLED when we already have OLED?

I disagree. Just because 2020 is a ****ed up year does not mean that Face ID is suddenly bad - I’m for iPhones with both Face ID and Touch ID.

I have an iPhone XS. I’m approaching my threshold of of waiting for iPhone 13. It’s only 9 months away now. Might as well wait.

Same. My XS still have 98% battery as well, I just couldn't justify a 12 for any reason. It's not different enough.
Maybe the 13 will be!

I'm also waiting to upgrade my struggeling Air 2 to the next 11" Pro (if there will be one). It'll be an expensive year but I made a little savings account for it years ago and it's ready.

So we will be able to buy on day one our next Promotion, port-less iPhone 13 pro

I'd be OK with that. I've never plugged any charger into my XS, I use it with the same Qi charger I used with my Samsung S6 before. I do use lightening headphones occationally but I wouldn't mind changing to BT.

I guess the question now would be if they will have a media event at the Steve Jobs Theatre. Too bad we won't have Phil Schiller anymore to present the iPhone 12s. Yes I'm calling it the 12s since Apple seems to be going by a 3 year cycle.

The iPhone upgrade program is designed (and advertised) to put users on a timeline where they can upgrade every year by just paying the tax of the new phone and continuing payments. A launch delay can cause all sorts of issues with this program, and Apple actually has given IUP users priority stock in the past to mitigate this. Obviously this year things are very different, but a change in launch timelines will have those on a yearly upgrade sequence two or three payments behind schedule by next launch, accounting for $150-200 extra when upgrading to a new phone.

You are obviously so clever and rich as to not care, but by principle this fundamentally changes the iPhone Upgrade Program for those even not in “hard times”.
The point of the IUP program is for folks to get a new phone every year. That’s doesn’t necessarily have to mean on launch day though. Folks should recognize that iPhones may not launch at the exact same time every year. If someone signs up in November or December they’ll probably never see their upgrade date arrive without a new model available. If someone has to have a new phone on day one every year, the IUP program may not be entirely suited to you. Apple may do something next year for folks that got their phones late this year, but they certainly aren’t required to.

I don’t mind keeping my 12 Pro phone for just nine months. i upgrade every year so I should get a good trade in on mine. I don’t know what the UIP customers are complaining about. You’ll get your new 13 in 2022 so what’s the problem? If it’s an issue then sell your phone and pay off your outstanding payments and just pay cash for the phone every year. That gives you full control

This sounds good :) So we don’t need to wait so long. Hopefully a smaller Notch become truth besides the Promotion Display for the new Pro Max :)
