My iPhone 11 is holding up so well, that after I get its battery replaced I think I will just stick with it until next year when the USB C iPhone comes out. Fingers crossed this is going to be the case!
It's a top end phone from 2021. You absolutely should be keeping a phone like that for at least 2 years. More like 4-5. Nothing Apple produces on the next 3-4 years will cause your phone to be bad. Not to mention innovation is way down in the phone space.Making me want to keep my 13pm for two years.
It's not healthy. Heat is the number one degrading factor of battery health. And wireless charging is like only half as efficient as wired so it's bad for the environment, especially the more popular it becomes. And I’m also not entirely comfortable with how warm my iPhone is when it is wireless charging, which can’t be healthy for the Li-ion battery.
Smart move! The 11 came out in September 2019. That's less than 3 years ago and it's still a super solid phone. It *should* last you another couple years at the very least (and hopefully Apple keeps up its normally very good software support).I’m keeping my 11 until another update after usb-c ? if software updates doesn't kill it.
Great idea! I personally have an iPhone XS and am still loving it. For my needs, it does everything perfectly. USB-C would be nice though (fingers crossed). My iPhone 11 is holding up so well, that after I get its battery replaced I think I will just stick with it until next year when the USB C iPhone comes out. Yea I upgraded last year from the xs to a 13 Mini for lowlight performance. That wasn’t just edge cases for me, but definitely will hold out for usb-c.Great idea! I avoid wireless charging wherever I can simply because of efficiency. I thought it might beneficial for my AirPods case and it it was crazy how warm it was so I avoid it altogether. It's not healthy. All that extra heat is objectively bad on the battery's health for sure.I avoid wireless charging wherever I can simply because of efficiency. I thought it might beneficial for my AirPods case and it it was crazy how warm it was so I avoid it altogether.
My mom is still using the original iPhone SE from 2016. She really wants the 13 mini but is waiting until it gets to be about 2 years old so she can buy a cheaper renewed one from amazon.Yea I upgraded last year from the xs to a 13 Mini for lowlight performance.
