KVM + apple aluminum keyboard not working in OSX

I have a MBP and a PC hooked up to a KVM. When the KVM is switched to the PC, both the mouse and apple aluminum keyboard work fine. BUT, when it's switched to the mac, only the mouse works -- the keyboard doesn't work.

Is there any way to fix this?
