KVM switch connection issue

I have 2 PC’s and KVM switch.
PC1 running Mac OS on MacBook Pro 2015 Mojave
PC2 running Mac OS on MacBook 2008 Catalina
I have 2 external Monitors: Monitor1 and Monitor2
Monitor 1 has 2 HDMI ports and 2 DisplayPort ports.
Monitor 2 has 1 VGA port.
PC1 is connected to Monitor 1 using HDMI port and to Monitor 2 via Thunderbolt to VGA port.
I connected KVM to PC1 and have no issues with Monitors I.e. I could use both.
The issue is with PC2.
The only working Monitor is Monitor 2.
My goal is to enable Monitor 1 for PC2 as well. Note: I connected PC2 to KVM via Thunderbolt to VGA adapter.
My attempt:
A. I have to connect PC2 to Monitor 1. I am going to buy either VGA to HDMI cable or VGA to DisplayPort cable and connect directly Monitor 1 to PC2(not using KVM cable)
Will it enable PC2 to display on both Monitors?
B. Maybe I need to buy VGA splitter and connect PC2 to both ports at the same time I.e. to Monitor 1 and KVM VGA cable?
What would be your advice: will option A work? In case it won’t work …. will option B work?
Thanks

Sorry for being short but my fix was not “a real” fix.
it’s rather my understanding of my layout/configuration:
My KVM switch has only VGA ports. I have 2 monitors and one has only VGA port but second monitor has either HDMI or DisplayPort input.
hence KVM switch could send video signal to one monitor. The second monitor is connected directly from PC without KVM.
My final layout is: switch from PC1 to PC2 using KVM but change monitor input for that PC manually on monitor itself.
Not very convenient but it was the only solution I found.
