Hi again
Has anyone ever got the scanner function working on an iMac. There are instructions online on how to doit but I'v had no success.
According to Kyocera who I telephoned about the problem, there is no support for the scanner function for this printer for iMacs. Any workaround would be very helpful.
Thanks.

Vuescan might work, but it's "pay for" software.

You might be able to use it in "demo mode" anyway, just to see if it works...

Vuescan is a subscription now ($34/yr). For about $200, you could replace the Kyocera with a Brother all-in-one that duplex prints, copies, and scans. The Brother machines do not require drivers at all since they use AirPrint, they are highly reliable, consumables are cheap, and they have many positive comments here on macrumors.
