Hi All,

Don't know if anyone here has a LaCie Ethernet Disk Mini (320GB)??

I just bought one (haven't set it up yet) but want to ask a few questions...

The disk supports mac, however I have no clue if its FAT32? If I reformat it to HFS+, will that screw up the ethernet sharing? (When I did this on another ethernet disk it screwed it).

If anyone has some real world experience with using this ethernet disk on a mac network, I would love to hear it.

I assume using AFP over SMB is the correct option?

Ethernet

I have that disk but use it under FAT 32 to share files between my HP PC and my MBP but if I remember the manual it is supposed to support HFS+ and could be reformatted without issue. Consult LACIE website, they are usually pretty good in supporting Mac.

I've had a look on their site and the PDF manual and there is no mention of formatting it in any "type"... It just seems to mention a straight "format"
