How is it Enterprise class RAID with 7200 RPM drives? The servers we run RAID on are running 10k or 15k RPM drives.
RAID levels have nothing to do with drive speed. People were RAIDing back in the 5400 RPM days too. For long-term mass storage, 7200RPM is still standard. I believe virtual machine environments typically run on 10K, while databases may more typically be placed on 15K or SSD now, depending on the application and need. It's a dynamic decision that is part of the planning stages.

I had tons of problems with Quantum drives back in the day; but Seagate drives have been very reliable for me for a few years now. Including a couple LaCie-supplied ones.
I'm genuinly happy for you. I however still have years of Seagate bashing planned after my Porsche Design 500GB external full off unreplaceable pictures failed on me just a couple of months after buying that POS.

Never had a single failure of a Seagate drive after putting fans on them. That's over 10 years.

"The LaCie Bolt3 will come in a 2TB SSD capacity for $1999.00."
Seriously, LaCie circle down on this price tag based on their speed? LOL.
It's more than what I just paid to Apple.....
