LACIE USB Floppy Drive

Ive got one of these, ive plugged it in and nothing seems to have happened.

Its not in finder like i would have expected, what do i have to do? Do i need drivers?
 
Just looked at the system profiler and its in there.
Just cant find where it is to drag files into it.
 
Have you put a new or definitely working Windows or Mac-formatted floppy in there? Does it mount on the desktop?

We had a few of these hanging around the office one.
