    LaCinema Black MAX
a nice unit from lacie does almost everything and say's it HDTV ready fo for freeview ?? but i'm not 100% on that - here's some nice piccys.

    and here's the back

i'm tempted as a direct replacment for my Sony Freeview/dvd/pvr.
the Mac aspect is what is pulling me towards this unit - and the fact it is either 500gb/1tb with a expandable storeage via USB HDD

so does anybody own one of these ? what is it like ? and will it replace my Apple TV -

only downside i can see would be iTunes protected files ( ie TV Shows and Movies ) but plus is that i think i can record TV and transfer to my Mac.

    Any thoughts .....
