Is anyone else experiencing lagging problems on the mini 4? For the first time since iOS 11 update I have played a flight simulator game which previously ran really smooth. Now there is noticeable lag/stuttering since iOS 11. Memory is not an issue, plenty left but I have to stop playing it now as it’s a right PITA.

can’t believe android gets so much flak for the same issues when clearly apple is exactly the same!

Mini 4 owner here, no slowness in games. Football Manager, Sim CIty, Fifa, Mario and Max Payne all run like they did on iOS 10.

Only issue I have is the App Store refreshes to a white screen if I come out of it and go back in via swiping up and selecting it, so I have top swipe up to ‘close’ it and then re open.

The issue I had with my Mini 4 (and same with Air 2) was not with games, which ran OK, but with things like app minimizing using the five-finger gesture - very jerky/laggy. I rolled back to 10.3.3 until they solve this.

Very interesting. I don't use the gesture myself so I haven't noticed it, but it looks like a common problem across all iPads from the other posts in this forum.

Yes. It seems like some code in 11 really needs some tweaking. Battery life seems to be another big issue. Unfortunately it will probably take .2 or .3 to wring these things out and by then we'll be looking at betas of 12...

Should've upgraded back to 10.3.3 when you had the chance because Apple just stopped signing it.
