Laggy iTunes animation on 16 MBP

It's like buying a 4k display and setting it to 720p.🙄

It doesn't even work. It doesn't make the animation smoother, actually it does the opposite. It's even more choppy, literally like 3 fps.

Give 10.12.4 public beta 6 a try, seems much faster in windows redraw, at least for me!

Experiencing the very same issue as the OP with the retina iMac. This is ridiculous. The album art unfolding in full screen on iTunes is laggy as hell. Anybody tried that on their MBPs 2017?
