    Hi,

I have an iMac and I want to put a lamp next to it. Can I put it onto the desktop next to my screen? The screen won't get damaged, right?

TIA and have a good evening,

    Linus

    Yes, of course you can.

You won't get screen burn or anything like that. You'll just notice the glare of your own face in the reflection of the screen.

    Thanks for this quick answer.

Yes, I've still made the experience with the reflection of my face. But I am relieved to hear that this is the only problem I am going to have :)

Thank you very much and have a nice evening,

    Linus

Nope a lamp will be fine. Just a glare from the light off the glossy screen but other than that it's ok.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

Unless it's an incredibly hot lamp.

Position it next to and slightly behind the display for minimized reflections. That way the direct bulb glow will not be noticeable , only your mug.
