If Apple is easing up on the rejection policy then those developers who created wonderful application such as the podcast streaming application should be allowed to resubmit.
the only reason i saw that apple didn't allow the podcaster application was because it directly competed with iTunes, which is a source of revenue. plus, who's to say that the functionality of podcaster wasn't already in the works for the iPod application?
Strike while the iron is hot, get that fart app (pull my finger) up ASAP!!!
while the App store is littered with a ton of useless applications, in the case with pull my finger - that could've easily been a web app.

landscape keyboard is great on mobile safari but it practically covers the entire screen. hard to go into different fields sometimes. sadly it would help a lot of sidekick owners transition to the iPhone, so i'm glad to see applications like these get through.

touch type

I have touch type and I think it works great.. Yes it would be nice to view emails in wide mode but hey at least you can zoom in on it.. The touch hold finger zoom option would be nice too but not complaining about it.. Also you can reply to mail in Touch type you just select the email then go to touch type and it syncs with what you want to reply to then you go back to mail and there you have the text you just typed in wide mode on touch type.. And yes we all want more but this phone is amazingand does so much a lot of people just want/alllways bitch about something!

After reading a lot of posts, it seems I am the only one here who likes the standard keyboard, and doesn't like the landscape keyboard.

Do you have small hands or thin fingertips?

Actually no, my hands are quite big, and i got relatively wide thumbs & thats what I type with.

When i first got my hands on the iPhone before I bought it, or even when I bought it, for the first week I couldn't stand the small keyboard, and wanted landscape. after that week, I really liked the regular keyboard, and not the landscape anymore.

I guess hand-eye coordination is key

every keyboard app should be able to do landscape

i think its stupid from apple not to allow landscape on all keyboard apps

doesnt make sense

I assume they did it because they felt there wasn't enough room on the screen for the keyboard and more than a couple lines of the email.

I would still like the option.

That's not really bad if you're writing an email.

Hopefully their own numbers will tell Apple that this is a stupid omission (sorry app developers).

This whole issue is hilarious - buying the option to write emails in landscape mode?

PRICELESS.

Perfectly shows what a load of crap this iPhone is and how cynically Apple's banking on its stupid/ignorant users.

Priceless, that is.

Yeah, we are all sooooooooo lame and you are soooooo smart.
Except you are stupid enough to spend your time posting here.
You must have nothing better to do.

What a loser.

After using Wide E-mail, it is not hard to see why Apple has kept this out of Mail and SMS. Easier to type, yes. Easier to see what you're doing, backread, etc.. NOPE.

Had Apple incorporated this without any serious design changes, it would be denounced as one of the sloppiest features of the iPhone.

So, no sorry the lack of landscape does not show what a "load of crap the iPhone is." That statement is just so laughable I almost feel bad for you, knowing that you actually had to think of it. Ugh.
