Before it was enabled throughout the OS, I can recall so many folks(me included) who were clamouring for a landscape keyboard.
Now that I've had it for a while, I can honestly say, the number of times I've actively used it, is less than the total sum of fingers on my hands.
What about you?

Very rarely, I find since I'm used to typing in portrait that I'm simply faster that way. I'm sure if I used landscape a lot that would in turn be faster but now I don't feel the need to do so.

Yes, I do use landscape since I hit fewer wrong keys that way. You guys must have tiny fingers.

I'm a creature of habit. I'm not going to turn my screen around to an unfamiliar way to type. I've never used my iPhone in landscape, but I've never used my iPad in portrait.

All the time. I cannot hold the iPhone in portrait and type without feeling my hands and fingers cramp up.
But I guess it is a matter of creating habits.

Always. 90% of my browsing is done in the iPhone, and it's so much more precise and quick to type in landscape. Texting is a breeze, I hate typing in portrait, like when I need to put my PW into the app store.

No, I can't stand typing in landscape. I'm much faster and more accurate typing with two thumbs on the portrait keyboard.

Unless I'm just writing a really quick text, I use the landscape keyboard. It's just so much easier to type on...

Not only do I NEVER use it, my iPhone has the portrait lock on 99% of the time I'm using it.

I never use the landscape keyboard but always the portrait one. I am faster with portrait when typing on it.

I tend to type in portrait mode most of the time but when I have a lot to type then i use landscape.

I tend to make a lot of mistakes on portrait so ive grown to hate it.

Never here either, but that's more habit than anything else. My phone's rarely in landscape position.

On the iphone or the ipod I pretty much only use landscape keyboard, bigger keys result in less errors for me. On the iPad I use portrait all the time as I find the keys too big and far away in landscape.

Not often. Only if I'm replying back to a thread since I can read it better in landscape.

Totally agree...and I find myself surprised at this. The problem for me is that when I think I'm going to type in landscape mode, I want to use my thumbs to type and they are not very accurate! Perhaps if I developed the habit of using them to type it would be different. But I can't seem to develop the discipline for that.
