landscape texting

do they plan on having landscape (widescreen) texting and emailing, i do the must virtual keyboarding in texting, yet i have to type on the smaller keyboard, will 2.0 allow this?

Havent heard anything about them planning it!

I know someone was talking about writing a script for it, but nothing ever came of it!

me too, if 2.0 just had this, i would be a happy man! The landscape keyboard is so much easier to use.

They have added a landscape option for calculator (switches to scientific) so hopefully they are going to update sms too *crosses fingers*

Dont know why whole doesnt flip when you hold it lengthways, it would just be sooo much easier. I hope apple do this eventually...
