Landscape vs. Portrait txt

Both, about even. I know texting while driving is awful, but when I am in the car usually upright......when not. Landscape. Don't ask.
Portrait. I don't text for a long time, so I don't have to keep flipping the phone when using it if I text in portrait.
i text at red lights in landscape mode so, that way it is safe, but i dont text that often so yeah.
i also text in portrait so i can text then back in pocket before my boss comes around the corner
At this point im so used to portrait that I stick to that a lot of times. I find that many times I will switch to landscape cause it is easier and faster usually, but a lot of times im texting one handed (not driving don't worry 
) and so portrait all the way.

It depends on where I am and what I'm doing. If I'm just sitting around, its easier to use landscape.
If I'm walking around and doing something, I use portrait cause I can do it with one hand.
If I'm at work I do it in portrait because I can act like I'm doing something with the other hand.
Pretty much if I have two hands open I use landscape...if not I use portrait

landscape keyboard is for the slow and clumsy.
i'll bet everyone who uses the landscape keyboard also types on a real computer about 30 words per minute with two fingers, staring at the computer keyboard trying to find each letter.

so are you confirming or denying that you type about as fast as a snail with your eyes deadlocked on the keyboard?
I disagree. The reason for his inflammatory remarks is that because of people like you, we have an annoying feature that we can't turn off. It's annoying. Every time the screen rotates it slows me down. Every time the screen rotates, I don't want it to.
Your clumsiness and laziness now impede my ability to use my iPhone when lying in bed. Your inability to type slows me down for several seconds every time my phone thinks I want a landscape keyboard.
personally i type on the computer pretty quickly as like most people i learned how to type in grade school and it comes naturally... however since forcing myself to use landscape mode whenever i have two free hands i cannot live without it now. I still use portrait mode when i only have one hand available but after getting good you can see how you can type easily at 90wpm plus with landscape and only about 60 portrait one handed... although i have also received complaints from contacts that my messages have gotten longer recently... I also needed to jump from 1500 to unlimited this month... ultimately it is just a preference though and it wouldn't hurt to have an option to turn off landscape if you are fully anti
