The Boom 2 software may be causing the problem. But a bigger issue is that you have a 2011 Mac with the Radeon 6750M. If you haven't already, you should check out this program:

    https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro-videoissues/

Your HDD, if original, is pretty old and could be causing issues. Most likely is the GPU.

Unexpected restarts are definitely one of the symptoms for Apple's video issues on your model MBPro.
Take in for service. Under that service program, Apple can test and replace your logic board until the end of this year.

i dont have apple care though so would they do it for free or would i have to pay? im not cheap i just want to walk with enough cash so i dont got to come back another day and do it. cause apple stores is slammed packed and take hours to finally get with you to help fix any of their stuff.

Not suire how Boom 2 installs/uninstalls, but if no dedicated uninstaller and or not using an AppCleaner-type app, can see that pieces are still there.

To unload the kernel extension, issue:

    Code:
    kextunload -b com.globaldelight.driver.Boom2Device
Then look in /Library/Extensions/. Delete above

    Make a genius appointment.
A 2011 MBPro is long past even the extended AppleCare warranty, of course. The repair program is for specific problems, and repairs for those symptoms (replacing the logic board) are at no charge to you. Apple has to verify that those symptoms are actually happening on your MBPro. If it fails Apple's testing, you get the repair.

Maybe you have an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) in your area, who can also do warranty repairs.
