Having an issue with the MacBook Pro screen…not sure how to describe it but will post a couple pictures. This is only seen on reflection and when screen is off. Can’t really notice when in use…if that makes sense.

Any thoughts on what causes this and can it be repaired if need be? Thanks.

Could be the anti-glare coating peeling off. As I recall, only option is to remove it all or just learn to live with it

StainGate.

Read up on it.

Probably not "fixable"...

It doesn’t look like what staingate looks like. This looks like it is under the screen but doesn’t affect the monitor when turned on…at least not yet. You can really only see it when it is turned off.
