Laptops battery life?

Is it me or battery life taking a noticeable hit with Lion? (MBP 13" Core 2 Duo 2.53 GHz here).
 
Mine took a big hit too, runs hotter as well.
mbp 15 late 08 lost almost an hour... the more I use this new os, the more unfinished it appears to be.
 
I love the OS overall. It's the only issue I'm having.
Hopefully it will be improved soon in an update.
