    I'm almost able to justify buying a 24" - A1 - printer, probably.

    Anyone got one?

I think it comes down to Canon or Epson and I think probably Epson - Canon are more expensive and even charge extra for a stand.

Any recommendations? I'll be print photos and detailed graphics from Photoshop.

Adopting print head of Epson DX5 and Seiko, the machines of this series can print the pictures with high efficiency and resolution.

Well, I posted this over 3 years ago and not long after bought an Epson 7880 which I'm perfectly happy with and has actually paid for itself.

Aren't I right in thinking this site does not allow posts to be advertising - I suspect that's exactly what this post is.
