I love science! This is one of the coolest machines on Earth.

Agreed, at this point, I say try and fix it.

Agree.

Keep pushing forward expanding the envelope.

Look if you guys can't see the point between science that saves lives, and science for the pursuit of knowledge that's fine.

I know and see the difference.

IMHO, both venues need to be pursued.
