iPod large harddrive on ipod mini

you see, my ipod mini (2G, 6 gb) just cant hold my music library anymore. Is there anyway to swap the 6gb harddrive with a bigger one?

There is an 8 GB version of the CompactFlash card that contains the drive. I'd say it's possible, but it wouldn't be easy.

I've got a 1G mini with a dead harddrive if you'd like to buy something to "hack on" and see what you can learn. 🙂 It looks as if it is possilbe to do, you just need to know how... no sense in breaking your mini trying to find out!
