Link is for a Mac Pro?You can add two standard M.2 drives with https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...lshark-carrier-board-storage-upgrade.2092108/
but it's expensive.
Oops. I saw Mac and Pro and 2013 and didn't see the Book part. Please disregard.Link is for a Mac Pro?
Nvme upgrade is cheap compared to an Apple SSD: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/upgrading-2013-2014-macbook-pro-ssd-to-m-2-nvme.2034976/

You have to look for a very expensive nvme drive as Apple has never had a 4 TB internal SSD for its early 2015 MBP.Darn. I was hoping for a way to get my 2013 rMBP 13 to 4TB of internal storage!
The 2015 MacBooks are usually okay with sleep; however, the Samsung drives generates more heat that some other drives and use more battery power during idle and normal use.Ok, so I have a 2015 MacBook Pro 15 inch - love the machine a lot. Has anyone had sleep issues with any of the Samsung ssd drives. I was looking at the Aura x2 by OWC, but was told by many on here to avoid OWC - sleep issues maybe ?

I personally would not get an owc. Although a Sintech adapter isn't needed with the owc, the owc can't be used in anything but another Mac. Get a nvme drive and a Sintech adapter. In the future, it can easily be re-purposed in another Windows laptop, desktop, or as an external.Ok, that is good to know. So I guess I will go with the OWC SSD.
And you can re-purpose the drive in a Windows laptop or desktop if necessary.I put a 2TB NVME (intel 660p) in mine with the NVME adapter. The only downside to using NVME that I'm aware of is that hibernation doesn't work. This is the adapter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FYY3H5F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Much cheaper than the $600 OWC "OEM" compatible drive
Do you have hibernatemode=25 enabled?Hibernation should work just fine in a 2015 with a third party NVME. I have one, no problems with wake from sleep at all.

Yeah, I was actually responding to MacbookProDude. I should have been clearer.Hibernation works with NVME in the 2015, but not the late 2013 macbook pros (and 2014). There is a bug in the 2013s firmware that has never been fixed that causes it to freeze when waking from hibernation. I mentioned this because the OP said they have a late 2013 macbook.
If you go with the Samsung, you will get great read/write speeds but you'll probably notice more battery drain and more heat.Ok, so any NVMe drive will not cause deep sleep issues on the DG 2015 MB pro which you and I both have, right ? As soon as this epidemic is over and I am able to go back to work( furloughed since 4/6 with return date 3 weeks from that time, I will get the Samsung model.
