i've been looking to upgrade my 2.2 macbook's hdd from the the original 160gb. so far i've come across the wd 320gb (WD3200BEVT). i was wondering if there was a larger hdd to upgrade internally.

I think 320GB is probably the largest available at the moment, though 500GB ones have been announced.

320gb is biggest for now, the 500gb from hitachi won't fit as they are 13.5mm high not 9.5mm.

i've owned a wd 250gb passport for quite some time and have been happy every since i've reformatted (2nd time i connected it). so i went and bought a 320gb passport to swapped it with my macbook.

cant wait until wd makes a 500gb passport
