At least for those of us with  silicon, realistically it seems to make sense to click that sheer liquidity button sooner than later.

Certainly before 27 is released in five months or so, but if not then absolutely before EOL support early (apparently?) in 2027.

Sonoma will stop receiving security updates after macOS 27 will be released (~ October 2026).
Sequoia will stop receiving security updates after macOS 28 will be released (~ October 2027).
