Here what happend

today i went home after work , I calculate and find way to get my bill cheaper if i buy a X
cause i already buy a plus 8 for my wife att next if i do again tonight my bill will jump more higher than 200$

now my bill 181$ month

i was thinking and thinking :rolleyes:
finally i figure out that i have 2 ipad = add lte 10$ per month plus tax 12.30 something
so 2x = 25 dollar months

i was dial 611 att and ask them to cancel that 2 devices and they said my bill will go down
160 next month

after they transfer me to cancellation group
and customer was look up my account and see that i am royal customer since 2012
and they add another 20$ discount with nothing change data plan same as it

finnaly i rip off 2 device ipad save me = 25$ + 20 dollar discount = 45$

so next month if i buy a X tonight my bill around 180 plus tax

i was happy now like win a lottery ,:D:D:D:D

oh my ... that suprise ,


So now i can buy iphone x 64 GB without worry money ....

I used to work in a call center for AT&T customers. You know how many customers I talked to that were promised something by one rep, just for them not to leave any notes on the account and not get it with the next rep. LuLz!
 
i got receipt sms just send me ya :)

ATT now not like before when they updated then your acc effective with sms confirmation send to your phone number

this is america bro not old country talk :cool:

I am happy my bill next month

iphone 8 plus
iphone x
unlimited call/txt international
6GB data sharing plan
1 ipad att next under pay off = 33$

total tax everything = 180$

is it cheap ?????
 
When I used to have money issues AT&T reps were always without question helpful in finding ways to cut my bills, sometimes dropping it to rediculously low amounts. It’s amazing what a little honest humility and kindness can get you when you’re dealing with another human who likely doesn’t love their job and maybe has gone through similar tough times. For now I’m fortunate that those days are behind me, but I’ll never forget some of those conversations, which were typically more than just business talk.
 
So... your still paying for the phone... just a lot less. That is not like winning the lottery. You should be getting a lot more iPhone X if you won the lottery.
 
I see what your saying, by canceling your two iPad lines (-$25) and getting an extra $20 off of your bill each from the loyalty department, you saved the $45 installment amount that you would be paying extra each month for the X while not adding anymore to your existing bill.

For those of you giving the OP a hard time, it wasn't that hard to decipher :p In there eyes it's like a free phone because they would not have to pay more on the bill that they are already paying but gain an iPhone X. Same as if you do a trade in after a year and still pay the same for the next new phone.

oh you smart cookie you... but that $20 discount is probably for only a few months- a year tops
