Oh ye of little faith. That's how you beat the casino. You wait until you're on a roll and you bet, bet, bet, bet, bet!

Yeah and the results are usually lose, lose, lose, lose:eek:
I've known so many people who go there day in and day out and when ever I ask them how's it going, they never say they're on up! It's always yesterday i won but today down xxxx.

Makes me wanna laugh and scream "you fool!!"

I think you mean: lose, lose, lose, lose, big win!

Exactly. I've come out ahead before but the only reason why is I'd miss my plane if I stayed. You can make some money but need willpower and not be at a table with a bunch of dumbasses.

Now I plan on losing but at least do it in a way that I never pay for a room, drink or meal.

Winnings?
Big screen TV my friend. You can never have enough of 'em.:D

You never stay up. I go to have fun and lose my money. In the end I get fond memories that I'll smile about when I'm 50 and less money to worry about leaving my family when I kick the bucket.

ira for retirement and have that thing compound for 40 years

but seriously, if you get a bike, i would totally reccomend the sv650s. you will pay like 100-200 a year vs over a grand or 2 a year for a bike like a r6 or someting

Roth IRAs are a US tax law thing, fwiw.

sv650s and save a crapload on insurance by a factor of greater than 10 than a zx-6r...no joke

Opps, missed this.

ATM I'm paying about £325 a year, fully comp for a 2006 CBR600RR. I can't see it going up for changing to a Ninja ZX-6R..
I think, I have five to seven years for no claims, if anything, it should be the same or less :)

If you do go with a bike, I'd suggest looking at the used market first. There's a LOT of people who give it a shot with a nice shiny new bike, and after a few months decide it's not for them, and sell the bike in like-new condition. You can save yourself a bundle and get the same thing.

Nice advice. I've owned about half a dozen bikes so far and all of them have been purchased from the pre-owned market.. So now I have a good chunk of the funds in cash, I think I'd go for something new from the showroom. Besides, the 2009 Ninja's ain't been out long. so, I doubt they'll be any on the used market yet.

More ram or a 4870 for the mac pro would be a small investment, however only if needed.

Who says you have to buy anything? Although I understand how badly "free" money burns a hole in your pocket.

Money never stays in my pocket long! I had to destroy my debit card because even though the money was in my bank account I still knew it was there! I could never save anything!

ROFL!!!!

After the other night's winnings I couldn't decide what to do with it. So... Today I gone to the casino again, taking with me £300 and won another £2700:eek::eek:

£4,400.00 + £2,700.50 (GBP) = £7,100.50

LOL :p

Sooo... Now what should I do?:confused:

P.S.. I got AppleCare for the display.. but where's the serial number??

You can afford Snow Leopard now! :D [/sarcasm]

Wow, wow, and WOW! Three straight winning trips in a row. You better cool it before that lucky streak runs out and you end up telling people about what you were going to buy before you lost everything. Seriously, quit while your ahead. Go buy that bike, skip on the blow, but ask your girlfriend to pretend like she's a hooker. :D "Hey sweetie, I got a new bike and I need you to help me break it in..."

Not sure about you guys but I will donate at least 10% of the winnings to some kind of charity (like helping the typhoon disaster victims in Taiwan, so many people lost their homes), after all technically the winning money is not yours.

Why is the money not his?
