late 08 minor screen flickering after wake?

I noticed that after I wake my 2.53ghz late 08 model macbook pro, the screen brightness flickers for about 25 seconds after wake.

Should I turn off auto brightness? Do other people notice this problem?

hey, i had the same thing so i just took it back and showed apple, and they gave me a brand new one! which is working perfectly! (touches wood) 🙂
