Late 2006 20" iMac GPU/CPU upgrade

Hi everyone!
I have late 2006 iMac with 2,16 C2D and 128mb X1600.
I was wondering if anyone has tried to upgrade the CPU to 2,33 and/or GPU to Nvidia 7600GT 256mb that came in the 24" version?

You can upgrade the CPU in it up to the T7600, but the GPU is IIRC soldered onto the logic board. So no GPU upgrades.

Yes that's because they used an MXM slot for the 7x00 GT's. In theory you could get a 4850 or 5750 in there. Not sure sure it's an MXM-A or B slot in it though. GT 120/GT 130 should work in Snow Leopard.
