Late 2008 Hard Drive Upgrade Suggestions/Limit?

Hi,

I have a 2GHz late 2008 aluminium Macbook and I am running low on space so I am planning on getting a new hard drive. Is there any limit to how much space I can have? I doubt I would need anything more than 500gb, but can I have that much?

Also, what company would you suggest for a new hard drive?

I am also planning on upgrading my RAM to 4gb from 2gb, but I don't think that will make much of a difference in choosing a hard drive.

There's no limit on how big in capacity u can go. I just recently installed a 1TB HD on mine.
