I previously own a late 2009 Macbook Pro. I since traded that in for a new Macbook Air and after owning it for 2.5 months, it was stolen and I havent been able to recover it. Since I flushed all of that money down the drain I bought a pre-owned Macbook (late 2008 aluminum updated with ML). The guy assured me there were no problems, but I've noticed the trackpad has been sluggish and that the tap is very sensitive to the point of making some websites nonfunctional because of the excess unintended clicks. I am trying to determine if this is a software problem with the update, hardware problem that needs to be replace, or if it is just the difference in an older model Mac that I am not used to. Any information you guys could present would be very helpful. Thanks!

you can open your macbook and remove the battery and the trackpad has a screw that you can adjust the clicking, you will need a torx screwdriver not sure which one, google for more details.
