late 2009 macbook pro - scratch/airbubble?

Hello,

I have a late 2009 Macbook (it wasn't called 'Pro' yet at that time😀) with which I have an annoying issue. I am not sure what it is and can't really find much about it on the internet or this forum, but I think it might be an air bubble? I have read about some similar cases happening to iPhones.

As you can see it's quite in the line of sight, and im having the feeling that it is getting bigger - I do have AppleCare, what do you guys recommend, is it even worth showing to them? I don't want it to escalate as you can imagine.

It obviously bothers you, so see what you can do. It isn't new, so IDK how much luck you'll have.

If it is aluminum bodied and from 2009, it is a macbook Pro.

Why not just call AppleCare? It seems to be your only option?
