Late 2010 MBA - USB 3.0 options

I've done some searching online, but am getting conflicting information.

Is there any way to get usb 3.0 speeds/functionality on my MBA? For easy reference, it has 2x USB 2.0 ports and a Mini DisplayPort. I'm ok with adapters, add-ons, whatever. I would just like the increased speeds if possible.

You don't have the option as the display port isn't a thunderbolt port like the 2011 model.
