It's my freinds but there seems to be now power going to it at all, this happened when she was writing a word doc and it restarted itself, it then turned on but kept restarting but now it's totally dead.

We've reset the power unit/SMC, and we can't boot it into safe mode as it won't even power on.

It sounds like a hardware problem no? Does anyone know of any specific issues with this era of MacBook Pro and power? I know there's a recall on graphic cards but can't find anything about power :(
 
Best thing to do is take it into an Apple Store, make a genius appointment.

It could still be related to Radeongate.
