    Crucial guarantee that the part is compatible with your machine on their website, so it should be ok.

    Hey, for what it's worth, just installed 16GB (2x8) Kingston ValueRam 1600 DDR3 in the early 2011 MBP (2,2Ghz i7) Working great!

    This machine officially only supports 8GB and 1333. :)
