Late 2012 iMac won't finish updates. :(

So, I'm still on High Sierra, 10.3.6 (17G8030) and the 2019-007 update doesn't finish after restart. Just sits at the progress bar indefintely. Is there any reason/benefit to stay on the nVidia drivers vs the Apple supplied drivers?

Did the reset via command + option + r + p. Update completed this time.
