So far I'm loving everything about this new computer, except one glaring issue. It lags noticeably when simply swiping between work spaces. I never had this issue with my mid-2015 15" Macbook Pro.

I've checked RAM usage and even with all my normal apps open I'm only at about 5GB used of 8GB, so I know it isn't an issue with RAM. And the CPU is hovering around 15% - 20% used, so I don't think CPU usage is to blame.

It really has me wondering if the downgrade from the Intel Iris Pro 2GB graphics (old computer) to the Intel Iris 540 (new computer) is the culprit. However, it seems strange that the Iris 540 wouldn't be able to smoothly handle something as simple as swiping from one workspace with 2 app windows open to another workspace with 2 app windows open.

Anyone else noticing the same thing?

I noticed some GUI issues earlier but that may have been because Outlook was downloading everything from the server at that time... ever since then everything has been smooth.

Nice, I'm strictly referring to the Mid-15 13" I had which was a base model.

Perfectly smooth on my 13" non-TB model. I did notice this though on my first day of use, I believe my initial time machine backup + spotlight indexing was to blame.

Yeah, everything is perfectly snappy when I'm moving between apps while working in a single workspace. The only time I've experienced any lag is when swiping between workspaces. It's just so strange to me.
