Late 2016 13 touch bar slow?

Uhh, why is vm performance on this brand new Mac so slow. Parallels and Fusion with win10 using a similar setup.

8gb
256


3gb
static vm drive 60 gb
Defaults for everything else.

I know that vm performance has been on down since mavericks, but still performance is not good. To the point is kinda of a joke.

Any other users out there care to chime in on this and can provide any suggestions on getting performance back to the pre mavericks days. I used to run a vm on Mac and it was almost a 1-1 performance.
