Late 2016 MBP: Upscaled or native resolution?

On the 13, upscaled is 1440x900, native is 1280x800.
On the 15, upscaled is 1680x1050, native is 1440x900.

1680X1050 on 2013 rMBP 15" since day one. Native just looks way too yuuuuuge

Unless it looks really bad, I'll probably use 1680x1050, to match my current machine.

Nope, no lag at all, no stutter on any scrolling, maybe only on Facebook when the bottom content has not loaded.

I have been using 1680x1050 or 1920x1200 on the 15" since 2012. The 2:1 scaling factor just doesn't offer enough real screen estate.

The demo machine in the Apple Store near me has got some lag with the higher resolution… I'll test it with lower resolution tomorrow.

jsut tried upscaled 1680*1050 on my macbook pro late 2013 (15inch) plus a 2560*1080 ultrawide monitor. damn it's laggy and fuzzy. donno how you guys can live with is
