Late imac 27 having problem rendering

Hey guys just bought late imac 27 680mx 3tb fusion drive,upgraded to 32gb ram,i use it for after effects,video editing

So i started to render after effects cs6 the render starts slowly takes very long time,so i stop it did it again render goes so fast finishes at 30 seconds while the first one took 8mins


Do i need the new mac pro to handle this?
Can you guys help?

That does not sound like a problem with your iMac and I don't see how a Mac Pro would fix it. Sounds like After Effects is hanging during the render. You might try over at the Adobe support forums for some help.
