Lates iPhone 4 from AT&T is unlocked?

Hi,

I just ordered via eBay a iPhone 4 32GB black, its last iPhone 4 model MC605LL/A

the iPhone is unlocked with Gevey Sim but I'm not sure if this iPhone model is unlocked since i read this:

this is important, because i don't know to update it or not through iTunes to iOS 5.

the iPhone its on way, i haven't received yet.

If its unlocked with Gevey do not update it to official 5.0
Gevey will not work any longer and it will only work with AT&T sims.

I haven't received iPhone yet, and I haven't tried without Gevey SIM, but when I asked the seller he told me that its unlocked with Gevey, but Im not sure if tried without Gevey or even with Gevey.

If its unlocked with gevey then obviously its not officially unlocked.
If it was you wouldnt need to use a gevey turbo sim.
Carefull so you dont lock yourself out if you're not going to use it with AT&T.

Probably iPhone is unlocked with Gevey SIM so I won't update to os 5
