Hi all

Is anyone else having issues since the 26.5 update.

I currently have 3 OG HomePods, one stereo pair in living room and a single one in bedroom, plus an Apple TV 4K in both rooms.

For years I have been using them with no issues set up with HomePods as the default speakers for the TV in both rooms.

However, all of them auto updated to 26.5 and since then I have been plagued with “network issue” next to the devices in the Home app.

Both of my TV’s had no sound and nothing coming through HomePod, even after selecting TV speakers, I still got no sound from the TV. speakers themselves.

I tried resetting the Apple TV’s, HomePods and my router all back to factory settings and re-setting everything back up. I managed to get bedroom working correctly again last night but living room ATV just will not connect to the stereo pair.

The bedroom has gone down again today and complete loss of sound again again even through TV speakers.

All other functions are working correctly on all devices, Siri requests, watching streaming services etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of what to do.

Thanks

No issues with my ATVs or OG HomePod. However I don’t use the HomePod as audio destination for any ATVs so if there’s an issue with that in 26.5 I wouldn’t have seen it.

The only thing I can think of, is if you’re using Ethernet for your ATVs, try WiFi.

My ATV recently complained about no WiFi signal, but there was. I had to reboot my ATV to solve it. On 26.5. Can’t remember that has happened before.
