Quick question, I'm seeing articles about the latest AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 15.11.1 and how it's improved a lot of games. But when I enter bootcamp on my imac and load up the catalyst control center, it's telling me I have version 15.201.2001 driver packaging version installed. Am I missing something here? I clicked the apple software update and there wasn't anything nor when I try to update within the cadalyst control center.

I know this is the same driver I've had for at least a month so do we just not have access to the new versions as imac users??

Downloaded the Crimson software but it says I don't have an AMD card installed on my system lol. Anyone else able to get the new drivers yet?

So basically the AMD card in the new iMacs (I have the R9 M395X) is "special" and can only be updated through BootCamp (unlike the nVidia ones). And looking at Apple's BootCamp update cycles, it'll be a LONG time before we get any sort of update... I believe the M295X cards got updated like a few weeks ago - almost a year after it's last update, no?

Each time I run AC Syndicate I get an error message saying: "Your drivers are too old, update to best support the game engine". :(

Good god that's terrible! D: Is there any way to work around it? Trick it into getting updated? If not then holy smokes that's a problem considering the sole reason I upgraded to the highest end version was to game. grrrrrrr

Hey. I came back from a 3 week vacation today and was surprised that apple updated the bootcamp GFX drivers. What are your experiences with the new drivers?

I have not been able to install them yet. When I try to install the updated drivers (from Win 10) the iMac boots to OSX. If I restart to Win 10 I get a pop up telling me that there's new drivers available.
Anyone know how to fix?

How did you install them exactly? Where was this update at????

I simply ran apple software update, which updated the app and then offered GFX Update 6.0.
The new AMD Center offers newer GFX Updates every time I run it, but fails to install because "no supported hardware was found". Oh well, at least some updates are happening. Hopefully apple will keep updating bootcamp on a more frequent basis.

If you run apple software update again, are the updated GFX drivers 6.0 gone or still there?

The 6.0 driver is no longer showing up after update.

In the AMD Radeon settings however I do get an update popup from my current 15.301.2101 to 16.15.2211, however the update fails each time because "no supported hardware" is installed.

Also, for some reason the new AMD drivers are showing that I have 2 displays. One on "EDP" and one on "Displayport". When I click to identify them, it shows that half of my screen is on one, and the other half on the other port. I'm guessing that Apple's custom display controller has something to do with it...

I just ran the Apple update last night, updated to the Graphics 6.0 package and it installed the new software and can confirm that it shows my GPU listed as M395X. Don't notice much difference in performance for the one game I play (The Forest), but the interface sure is nicer.

Hey, do you still have that driver?! I need it for iMac 5k and Windows 8.1 - the new one does not work with Win 8.1 anymore and the working one: 15.201.2001-15005a-295390C was silently removed as it seems. I need someone who still has it - to get back 5k resolution!

Thx in advance!

Sure thing man, I just have no idea how to find it lol. I'm working on the mac side today and have a lot of operations going I can't quit out of but I can still access the bootcamp files. Do you know where the file would be? Just let me know and I'd be happy to host it. :)

Hello,

Thank you lemcj! That would be really very helpful to get the right driver back again!

If it is there, I think it should be in the place "C:/AMD/" with some folder in it, this should contain installer-files, AFAIK.

Thanks & Best,
Stefan
