I am at a loss as what to do. I recently purchased the latest iMac 21.5 and absolutely love it..except! ..I have encountered dead pixels on..would you believe 3 occasions on 3 different screens.

I have returned two screens which developed dead pixels within a week of use and now..tonight my third screen is breaking out with dead pixels. I really don't know what to do. I just feel that if I return this one (apart from feeling silly) that it will probably happen with the next one. Am I just having some strange run of bad luck..or is this problem more common than I think. The store assures me it is very unusual.

This is extremely frustrating to say the least. :(

I have a 27 inch 2009 c2d 3.06Ghz. Perfect screen after 19 months. I have a few theories on why both yellow screen and dead pixels turn up on these iMacs.

Heat and bad air flow are the main reasons in my opinion. Do you game alot do you do a lot of handbrake do you have the bigger cpu?

How is air flow ? do you have an ssd and a hdd?
