crazy christians...

anyways, for those who have been wondering: Perian 1.0 works perfectly with Leopard.

Yippee!!! Thanks for this piece of info. I don't want to shell out the money for a wireless keyboard and mouse just so I can browse my videos from the couch. Would have cost about as much as Leopard itself.

Right now I'm using a mouse (über long cable) with one key assigned to CTRL. This way I can zoom in so I can reed the filenames on the TV. Works great but looks kinda geeky and I'm the only one who can operate the TV. :p

Performance wise... are there any benefits to Leopard? Keeping the same system setup (i.e. RAM, HD...) should the new OS be any faster...or does leopard require more Ram/Processor for all the Eye candy?

Thanks
Chris

I'd say for anything Intel or G5, Leopard is faster than Tiger.

All the previous updates to Mac OS X have run faster on current hardware.

I think Leopard will continue this trend.

There was a big performance loss for 9 -> X, because times were a changin' architecturally wise, but apart from that all new revisions have been faster in my experience.
