iPhone 15 Pro Latest upgrade iOS 17.1 and battery life

Anyone know if battery life has improved for 16=5 series phones after upgrading to new software 17.1

I never expect software updates to affect battery life. Software has less effect than most people think.

15pm here. 512gb. My battery life is noticeably worse. Seems like it went back to how it was on launch day. Also i noticed my phone getting warm during a phone call. Pretty frustrating experience with this phone so far

Lots of background process go on after an IOS update which can affect battery life. Too early to tell if it affects battery life.

So far idle battery life has been much better on my 15 Pro.

Regular 15 user here - so far battery life is comparable to pre iOS 17.1. I don’t think there should be big of a difference if any. iOS 17 has been one of the most stable releases from Apple in a while and I hope it’ll continue being so.

Did you back up your phone to a PC/Mac before you upgraded? If you did, a downgrade is a possibility and you might wanna consider it.

My 15 Pro battery took a hit on 17.1 RC2, it was okay on RC1.

Not sure if i should try 17.2 beta or try resetting.

15 Pro Max, definitely better than on 17.0.3. I'm ... almost satisfied now.

I’ve updated it couple days ago and from my experience the battery life has only decreased.
