Can I ask if there was only one version of the Retina MBA 2018 which has just been discontinued - I seem to recall it may have been given a minimal tweak after it was introduced - Just wanted to know as I am thinking of buying the "latest" version and wanted to be sure

Not sure exactly what you are asking. There one only one CPU available in the 2018 MBA and the 2019 MBA uses the exact same CPU, with the only changes for 2019 being the true tone screen and a tweak to the materials used in the keyboard (which may improve reliability). Available options are more SSD storage and more RAM.

There was only one MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch) release in 2018.

It is identical to the current MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2019) except for three items:

- 2019 added True Tone technology that automatically adjusts the white point of the display to match the color temperature of your environment
- 2019 changed up to 1TB of SSD (down from 2018 up to 1.5TB of SSD that was also faster)
- 2019 updated third-generation butterfly keyboard design with an updated material as the higher-end 2019 MacBook Pro models introduced in May

[doublepost=1565558909][/doublepost]Thanks for the clear explanation as I was a bit confused and had been offered a MBA with 1.5TB Ssd - so I guess it’s the earlier version which really doesn’t seem to have much in way of differences between them
