Yes, but no double click to zoom, which i like, when it works. However you can set the zoom permanently to 150%, or use cmd++, which for me negates that deficiency.

What is the new retina Chrome version called?

Just download the latest version and it is good for Retina (that is the full, non beta, non canary version). It is version 21.0.1180.57.

Chrome is spyware, it should be removed every time you run an antivirus program.
You do realize that so is Safari if you use that poor equivalent of an omnibar.
Every browser in fact if you stay logged in to a google account.

If you don't like that there is always Iron. It takes a little longer to update but it is free of all the "spyware".

Until Chrome lets me delete my history on exit (ala Firefox), I'll be sticking with Firefox.

Which sucks, since I hear Chrome is pretty damn good. I hear Safari is pretty good too, but it too doesn't allow me to delete my history on exit.

And while I'm not super paranoid about my internet history, I share my rMBP and don't necessarily want my Mexican donkey porn...I mean, orphan donation site history to be shown.

Safari's private browsing won't turn off until you do so, you can always run private browsing (at least on the latest version).

OP: I still feel chrome more laggier than safari :(.

used to like chrome, but Safari 6 win this time. Zoom in/out animation is so much better in Safari.
