I got a launch day iPhone 4S and from today the home button has randomly started to creak when pressed. All my presses are getting registered correctly so far. But this was the exact symptom when the home button of my previous iPhone 4 button became temperamental. I just cannot believe that Apple continues to ignore the no. 1 return reason for iPhones so far. I heard that Apple have slightly changed the way button is attached to the phone, but I can attest to the fact that it has done absolutely nothing to fix the issue. I will continue to believe the home button is behaving normally after trying to blow compressed air through it. Hope the next iPhone Siriously has capacitive button. The Home button of my iPad 1 purchased early last year is still working as new even after the battering it got for almost 2 years.
