I have deleted a program but there is still a folder in launchpad how do I delete it please

Drag the folder to the dock. Rightclick it and select "show in finder", delete the folder.

The folder won't drag nor open lol

I went into the library and saw the folder there so I sent it to the trash then rebooted, now alls ok.
